The scope of Racetones is to provide the enthusiast with the highest-quality audio recordings of all the cars we know and love. I have a deep passion for sportscar racing and I would live at the track if I could! Ulitmately though, most of us rarely make it out to the track so this is my way of bringing the sounds of the track to you. Forgot those cheesy slight rev and then drive away tones. These are in-car, full throttle, max RPM sounds that will put you right in the car at the track or your favorite canyon run!

A little history...

RaceTones started back in 2005 when cellphones supporting MP3 ringtones became more popular. Having bought one, I searched for some decent car sounds for ringtones. Most of the ones available are of someone standing outside the vehicle as it accelerates away. I decided to put the recorder on the inside which gives the listener the ability to "ride along". All tones are recorded in WAV format at 24bit/44.1khz to ensure the highest quality reproduction.
