The mighty 917
Of all the spectacular racing vehicles developed by Porsche, the one that stands out the most when people think of racing Porsches is the Gulf Racing 917k. Steve McQueen captured the true essence of racing and racing Porsches in his 1971 classic Le Mans

In the future, I look forward to doing a full sound track recording on 917-017 which is being restored by Kundensport in Camarillo, California. Here's a photo from their shop of the restoration.
